Newcastle United are one of the four teams yet to tastevictory since the new Premier League campaign started in August. After seven rounds of games in the Premier League this term, Newcastle United have not won a single game. Apart from Newcastle United, Southampton, Burnley and Norwich City have also failed to record a win in the English top flight this season.

Steve Bruce has had to deal with a lot of injuries as the Newcastle United manager this season. The Magpies were on a six-match winless run before the away game with Wolves on Saturday. At the end of proceedings, The Magpies made it seven games without a win at the start of the new league season thanks to the 2-1 defeat to the Midlands club. In-form Hwang Hee-Chan was responsible for the two Wolves goals either side of the halftime interval.

Hosts Wolves took the lead through South Korean midfielder Hwang Hee-Chanin the first half off the assist from Mexican striker Raul Jimenez. Hwang scored the first of his two goals with 20 minutes on the clock. Wolves were on the way to taking an halftime lead until Republic of Ireland international Jeff Hendrick struck for Newcastle United. Ex-Burnley star Hendrick scored the Magpies equaliser with four first half minutes left on the clock.

Hwang found the back of the net with his second goal of the game on 58 minutes off another assist from Jimenez and it turned out to be the goal that gave Wolves the three points. Hwang has been amongst the goals for Wolves in recent games and his brace against Newcastle United took his tally to three goals in four Premier League games. The summer arrival scored his first goal for Wolves during the 2-0 away win over newly promoted outfit Watford.
